Who Really Runs the World?
By Crazy Rick
Alright folks, grab your tinfoil hats and pour yourself a hot mug of organic, fluoride-free herbal tea—because today we’re asking one of the biggest questions of them all:
Who really runs the world?
And no, Beyoncé, it’s not just girls. (Though… that’d be kind of nice.)
Let’s break it down.
The Government?
Sure, on the surface, it looks like elected officials call the shots. Presidents, prime ministers, parliaments—all decked out in suits and ties, shaking hands and smiling for the camera. But let’s be honest: how many of them are actually making decisions, and how many are just… reading a teleprompter?
The reality is that politicians come and go, but the system—that mysterious force of lobbying, corporate influence, and behind-the-scenes advisors—remains. So are they really in charge? Or just the pretty faces of something deeper?
The Ultra-Wealthy?
Now we’re getting warmer.
Let’s talk about the 0.01%—the billionaires, mega-donors, and financial dynasties. These folks have more money than some nations’ entire GDPs. They don’t just influence policy—they fund it, shape it, and sometimes rewrite it.
Groups like the World Economic Forum, Bilderberg Group, and Council on Foreign Relations are frequent flyers in this theory. Private jets, closed-door meetings, and enough power to shift global markets. Coincidence? You decide.
The Illuminati?
Ah yes, the granddaddy of all conspiracies. The Illuminati—a shadowy cabal of elites pulling strings from their secret underground lairs, possibly wearing robes, probably doing some kind of ancient ritual, and maybe even living forever on adrenochrome (depending which corner of the internet you ask).
According to the Wikipedia article on the New World Order conspiracy theory, this theory suggests that a powerful group seeks to install a one-world government, erasing borders, controlling currency, and, of course, enslaving humanity through microchips and vaccine mandates (🙄).
Sound ridiculous? Maybe. But the persistence of this theory across decades and cultures does make one wonder: Why does this idea have such staying power? Could it be metaphorical? A symbol for unseen power structures?
Or could it be... more?
Big Tech and Data Lords
In the 21st century, information is power—and no one owns more data than tech giants like Google, Meta, Amazon, and Microsoft. They know what we eat, where we go, who we text, and what time we binge reality TV.
So maybe the real overlords wear hoodies and live in Silicon Valley?
The Truth Is… Complicated
Here's the kicker: maybe there isn’t one single group running the world. Maybe it’s a tangled web of overlapping interests—corporate, political, technological, even ideological—all bumping into each other in the shadows.
Or maybe we want to believe someone’s in control because the alternative—that no one really is—feels even scarier.
So, Who Really Runs the World?
Is it:
-
The Illuminati?
-
The ultra-rich?
-
Shadow governments?
-
Reptilian shapeshifters from Alpha Draconis?
🤷♂️ We’re not here to give you answers. We’re here to ask the questions most people are too scared to say out loud.
And to say this:
Think for yourself. Do your own research. Question the narrative.
Because if there’s one thing Crazy Rick knows—it’s that the truth is never where they say it is.
Comment below with YOUR theories. Who do YOU think runs the world?
We’ll take the best ones and dive deeper next week. Until then—stay skeptical, stay curious, and keep your eyes open. 👁️
